Celebrating innovation at Innovate Textile Awards 2024

Innovate Textile Awards will take place on Friday 6 December 2024, WTiN announced today.
The virtual/online event is dedicated to celebrating excellence and leadership for innovation in the textile industry, providing a unique platform for businesses to gain industry-wide recognition of their achievements.

From today, WTiN is offering businesses the opportunity to place their brand of the forefront of innovation with sponsorship. Packages include Event Sponsorship or Award Category Sponsorship.
Entries for Innovate Textile Awards open 22 July 2024 with 17 awards across five categories: changemakers, sustainability, manufacturing & supply chain, materials, and product. See the website for more information: https://innovatetextileawards.wtin.com/awards/.
Other key dates include the announcement of the awards’ longlist of nominees on 1 October, followed by the publication of the nominee shortlist for each award on 8 November.
The judging panel consists of industry experts including Samantha Taylor, founder, The Good Factory; Parikshit Goswami, professor of technical textiles, The University of Huddersfield; Paul Foulkes-Arellano founder, Circuthon Consulting; and many more.
Mark Jarvis, managing director, WTiN, said: “The past few years have presented the textile industry with a series of unprecedented challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the global cost-of-living crisis and geopolitical conflicts. However, periods of disruption often foster innovation. As the industry regains momentum, we believe it's the opportune moment to recognise and celebrate the triumphs that have been achieved.”
Steve Hrywnak, head of sales, WTiN, said: “Participating in the Innovate Textile Awards 2024 brings recognition and publicity. It showcases your commitment to innovation, either as a sponsor or entrant, and enhances your reputation. Award wins or nominations attract new business and motivate your employees, and the convenient virtual format allows participation from anywhere.”
