How Pre-Flushed KeyKegs Work
KeyKegs feature an internal bag that requires flushing. We modified our production process to enable the introduction of nitrogen directly into the bag, replacing the air inside. This process is repeated to ensure residual air is eliminated from the bag.
Pre-flushed KeyKegs are carefully processed to meet the highest standards of hygiene and quality. By the time they reach customers, the kegs are already nitrogen-flushed, pre-vented, and ready to fill. From that point, it's just a quick step to disinfect the coupler and the KeyKeg connection before starting the filling process.
This solution is especially ideal for beverages that are highly sensitive to oxidation. While all KeyKegs must be vented, not all beverages require the bag to be flushed. That’s why our pre-flushed kegs go the extra mile.
