Visit Antalis’ Alpine retreat at this year’s Sign & Digital UK

Antalis brought an après ski feel to this year’s Sign & Digital UK event, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 2-4 April 2019, by welcoming visitors to a stunning Alpine inspired stand showcasing some of the latest media trends, hardware capabilities and training solutions.

The innovative concept has been creatively designed to demonstrate how printed media can effectively and creatively replicate different materials – from realistic wood-effect printed panelling, to robust log-style seating – all made using Antalis’ UK exclusive Xanita Board solution.
As a sustainable fibre-board offering manufactured from fibres recovered from recycled cardboard boxes, Xanita Board is a lightweight yet robust alternative for a wealth of sectors, whether for decorative and structural purposes. Applications for this directly printable substrate includes retail, exhibitions and events, hospitality and interior design.
Other product exclusives being unveiled at the show include the latest Coala Textiles range; a collection of printable textiles for signage and decoration and a further environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional PVC. Together with the existing Coala Walldesign range, the complete portfolio of textiles and wallcoverings will enable commercial printers looking for diversification avenues to capitalise on this ongoing opportunity in the interior design market.
In addition to these new products, there will also be a sneak peak of Antalis’ new SUBSTR8 product selector tool, which has been designed to simplify the specification process by breaking down substrate solutions by attribute and application.
The team’s popular ‘Décor Live’ demos will also be returning to the show, to demonstrate how vinyl, wallcovering and magnetic applications within a retail and hotel environment can effectively transform a blank canvas to a personalised, impactful space with ‘wow factor’. Visitors to the Antalis stand can equally take advantage of taster training session from the Antalis Academy in colour management to learn how to get consistent and repeatable colour across multiple devices.
For visitors seeking to invest in hardware, Antalis’ leading hardware partners, Revolution Digital, Granthams, Agfa and Atech, will be present to offer their expertise and help with tailored solutions to meet any specific requirements.
Chris Green, Head of Channel for Visual Communications at Antalis comments: “As the formative visual communications event, Sign & Digital UK is always a highlight for us, as it’s a hot bed of innovation and creative thinking around what’s next for the industry.
“This year’s show is particularly packed with opportunities for visitors to gain insight on the latest products and techniques and includes taster sessions on our most popular Antalis Academy training workshops.
“As always, we’ll have a full team of Antalis experts out in force on our stand (H30) during the duration of the show who will be able to provide product demos, information, samples, advice and support to all visitors.”
Sign & Digital UK is widely recognised as the leading annual event for the signmaking, display solutions and digital printing communities. Each year, the free-to-attend exhibition attracts thousands of visitors looking to discover all the latest products and services from leading suppliers.
At this year’s event, Chris Green from Antalis will be taking part in both the interior decoration panel discussion on Tuesday 2nd April and the sustainability and environment discussion on Wednesday 3rd at 2pm. James Beattie from Xanita will also be taking part in the retail panel discussion on Wednesday 3rd April.
