Canon Europe, leader in imaging solutions, today announces the appointment of Markus Naegeli as Head of Business Imaging Group (BIG). Naegeli will report directly to Rokus van Iperen, President and CEO, Canon Europe, Middle East and Africa.
"We're continuing to evolve and transform our business to leverage Canon's heritage in imaging solutions to expand and maximise opportunities in our B2B business," comments Rokus van Iperen. "Markus will play a critical role in driving further growth in our existing business areas, as well as on developing new business areas for Canon."
Since joining Canon in 2002, Naegeli has gained broad operational experience from both a headquarter and country having previously held roles as Country Director in Business Services in Canon Switzerland, as European Director in BIG Service and Support at Canon Europe and since December 2007, Managing Director of Canon Switzerland. Under his leadership, Naegeli has overseen several transformation programmes, strong business growth and the successful integration of Océ and Canon in Switzerland.
Naegeli will be succeeded by Servio Notermans, currently Country Director BIG and PPG, Canon Germany, as the new Managing Director of Canon Switzerland.
