FLYERALARM presents the 11th Design Award

Following the success of the tenth FLYERALARM Design Award 2020, graphic designers, designers and agencies have the opportunity to submit their own ad designs again this year. The winners of the four categories - people, animals, environment and social affairs - will each receive €2,500, as will the winner of the audience award.

Graphic artists, designers and agencies are once again invited to submit their work to the FLYERALARM Design Award 2021 from September. "The great thing about our award is that there are only winners", explains Nils Brennecke, Head of FLYERALARM Advertising. "The four beneficiary organisations from the categories people, animals, environment and social affairs will specify a theme for their respective A4 ad. A 25 euro participation fee is charged for each advertisement submitted. The total sum will be divided fairly by four at the end.
The German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) is the sponsor of the category "People" for the FLYERALARM Design Award 2021. In the category Animals, advertisements can be designed for the German Animal Welfare Association and in the category Environment for the German Forest Protection Association. As every year, the social category is filled by Standpunkt, an association founded by FLYERALARM employees.
The first-placed advertisements win 2,500 euros. Second place winners will receive a 12-month Adobe CC licence. And for the third place winners, Adobe will donate a 12-month Adobe stock licence. "This year, Adobe is celebrating its 20th anniversary in InDesign," says Nils Brennecke. According to him, the design programme is an indispensable tool for market-leading creative professionals. What is new is that there is only one award sponsor. "FLYERALARM and Adobe have enjoyed a close partnership for years. We are therefore very pleased to welcome Adobe as the sole main sponsor this year", says a delighted Nils Brennecke.
As in previous years, the jury for 2021 will be made up of top-class members: Christine Moosmann (Editor-in-Chief of novum magazine), Claudia Siebenweiber (President of the Professional Association of German Communication Designers), Christoph Kull (Adobe Vice President & Managing Director Central Europe) and Bernd Zipper (CEO of zipcon consulting), as well as the founder and Managing Director of FLYERALARM, Thorsten Fischer.
Participation is only possible via the dedicated website www.flyeralarm-design-award.com. After the closing date for entries on 30 October 2020, the community will have the opportunity to vote for the audience award, which also carries a €2,500 prize. The prize will be handed over at the end of January 2021 at the FLYERALARM headquarters in Würzburg.
